Mr. Ackerman doea vulcanising
and deals In new and old tires, lie
has been in that business In La
Orunde for the last three years.
Before Jhat he was located In
Portland. . a
An Interesting training was un
dergone In that work by Mr. Acker,
man In Ohio when for five years
he worked building tires at .one
time In tho Firestone tire factory,
another time In the Goodrich fac
tory and again In the Kelly-Hpring-fteld
factory, so he knows the busi
ness from the ground up.
The Ackerman shop was former
ly located In the Koesch building
next to The Observer but moved
across Adams when Mr. Lartson
secured those quarters for his new
garage.
