last evening. About ten members

hour. After this, the feature of
the evening's entertainment was a
taffy pull. Delicious refreshments
were served ut the close of the
evening.

Kastern Oregon Dairymen's asso
ciation will hold. Its anniiut meet
ing Dec. I 1 at the O.ld Fellows hall.
The purpose of the meeting Is to
finish up the year's business and
elect officers for the ensuing year.
It will be an all-clay meeting, with
a politick dinner at noon. The as
sociation has also been buying
chickens, having taken out a truck
load from the Cove last week and
again Wednesday.
