Some of the most picturesque
spots In California were used as ex-,
tertor scenes for tho Hilarious 1 ox
comedy. "Why Sailors Go Wrong,"
now playing at the Colonlul t neu
ter. Most of the camera work was
centered on Balboa Park In, Sun
Diego, which Is noted not only for
the tropical beauty of lis foliage
but for enchanting architecture of
the most unusual sort, also. Tho
roads in this park are lined with
luxuriant trees; shaded fountains
play In quiet patios und some of
the most famous flower giydens In
the world are to be. found In the
recesses of Its grounds.
Other scenes were made nt La
guna Beach, the beauty of which
bus uttrueted a largo colony of art
ists and on a patntiul yacht moorod
off famous Point Lonwi. Theso
backgrounds give added interest to
the picture and nre proof of the
fact that beautiful settings nre es
