'1. One Spade or ono No Trump.
This hand contains two sbund dec
larations; it has three suits stopped
and more than average strength,
also " ample strength for a four
card Spade bid. The argument
against No Trump Is the menace of
the wifhliless doubleton: the argu
ment against the Spade Is that bid
ding a four-enrd Major Is always
attended with danger because the
partner may assist 'with a three
rard suit. The writer's choice In
this cns Is one Spade, because the
Major Is headed by A-Iv-10 and the
Club fdouhIeton Is absolutely de-
fensfless.

and nutmeg and mix thoroughly.
Let cool enough to handle and
shape into balls, putting a table

or egg until foamy and roll each
