ular meeting of the l.a Grande
Parent-Teacher city council, which
waa held yesterday afternoon at
the Central school building.
Because the rooms In the library
building, formerly used by the
Neigh horhood club and other or
ganizations ns a meeting place are
being remodeled Into a children's
room, - the parent-teacher council
will meet hereafter at the various
school buildings. The Kiverla
school Invited the members of the
council to meet there for its next
regular meeting, and the invita
tion was accepted.
During the short business meet
ing, which was presided over by
the president, Mrs. I.. Fans, an
nouncement was made that Mr.
Wilkerson and the Hev. J. George
Walz would act us joint chairmen
of the program committee.
