Win. If. Parkinson, was one of the
most pleasing nnd successful in
dividual student recitals given this
season.
The program was exceptionally
well balanced and elicited spon
taneous npplause after each num
ber. Miss Hantz draws a large warm
(on f roni lur violin which was
especially noticeable in the " Adair -io"
by Mies and t he "i avatina"

"Fonceito in A Minor" by Accolay
and the "Gypsy Airs" by Sara
sate also demonstrated her mas

She responded to three encore:,

beautifully and with almost per
fect enunciation. She lias a clear,
resonant soprano voice of rare
quality combined with a charming
. personality. The "Sleepy Hollow

particularly well received by the
audienc . For an encore she sang
"The Night Wind" by Hall.
Miss Manlz and Miss Trill both
received many bouquets of flowc-.t.
The Knstern hvgon School of
