County Show.
The I,a Grande Neighborhood
club will have its third annual
flower show Friday, September 3;
It was decided last evening when
the committee members met at
the home of the chalrinan, Mrs.

Because oi the dry summer"
season there, wan some doubt nt
first as to whether Lu Grande
wquld have a flower show t his
year, but the committee reached
a final eels! on Ihsl nlnht, and
although the flowers this year
may not be as large and beautiful
as In the two years past, tho
show will be held September S.
A County Arfnlr.
The annual flower show Is . a
county affair and women from
all over t'nlon county are Invited,
to enter specimens from their gar
dens. Flowers have been entered
from Cove, Union, Imbler, and
Klgin for the other shows and In
many cases carried off the first'
prizes.
As soon as It was decided to
have h. show this year the com
mittee members started working
unil all arrangements will be com
pleted by the date set for the af
fair. .V special musical program
will be prepared for' the evening.
The flowers will be Judged dur
ing the afternoon.
A special prixo will be given
