day nfternoon for the third an
nual Joint picnic of the two lodges.
Peoplo began to arrive at the
park at 4:3ii o'clock in the after
noon ami by (i o'clock everyone was
there. Several long tables were
arranged In the park pavilion mid
decorated with houuuets of flowers,
where a delicious picnic dinner was
served at. ii:3 o'clock.
After dinner an Interesting pro
gram was given. Claude C, Pratt
gave two humorous readings, and
Air, Warren gave a reading. II. K.
Dixon spoke, .artcr which the two
little Cooper girls, M:ieHzabclh and
Alice Jeanette played several vio
lin 'numbers, which were well re
ceived. Alice Jeanette also ajipoqiv

lugs, followed by the closing ad
