Bread sticks
One-half I'omprsHscd yeast cake.
f4 cup lukewurgi water. 1 cup
scalded milk, 3 cups flour (about).
2 teaspoons sugar, teaspoon salt,
1 tablespoon melted butter, 1 egg
white.
Soften yeast In water. Scald milk
and when lukewarm add softened
yeast. Add 1 cups flour, boating
with a large spoon until mixture is
smooth. Cover and let stand In a
warm place until light. The tom
