Wrecks of ocean liners are en

by mechanical wind machines. The

A recent example of miniature

of monstrous prehistoric beasts.
On the screen they appeared to
weigh tons, and moved with life

were models IK Inches high, com

their movements manipulated by
invisible wires.
When the movie spectator sees
actors struggling perilously neir
the brink of a precipice or on tue
cornices of a tall building, he may
be witnessing a sc.enu "KholM in
two different places. The fighl
may have taken place on the slur

later have photographed the prec

strip of film.
