to La Grande from their home at
Pendleton yesterday. They w ere
accompanied back to Pendleton by
their daughter, Mildred, who has
been visiting here for several weeks
with her sister. Mrs. L. H. Norton.

Mr. and Mrs. Myron Lyons have
returned to La Grande alter an
auto trip to California. They have
purchased a twenty-acre farm and
will leave in about two weeks to
make their home there.

The Woman's Community club
of Meacham will give a dance at
Meucham Saturday night. Music
for' the occasion will be furnished
by the Fletcher orchestra of Pen
dleton. The dunce is advertised
as a masquerade and many unusual
costumes will probably be seen. The
proceeds of the dances are to go
to the monument fund.
