water for five minutes.

one-half cup sugar in an enamel
ed ware saucepan, which will pre
serve the delicate color of the
mixture, bring to boiling point,
stirring constantly.
Add the soaked gelatine and
stir until cool. Whin mixture be
gins to thicken, fold in the whites
of two eggs beaten until stiff. Turn
into a wet mold and chill. When

and sprinkle with blanched 1 nuts,
finely chopped.
