Westerners

ONE glimpse of Cali
fornia, or Oregon,
or Washington, or
any Western state proves
that the West is the motor
. ground of America!
California, for instance, leads
New York and every other
state in registration of pas
tenger automobiles!
A group of luccecsful Akron
tire engineers caught a vision
of the opportunities in the
West. Its vast resources and
possibilities for growth appeal
ed to them.
Digging Into the facts, they
learned that 30 per cent of the
nation's tires are used west of
the Mlsiissippi. And only 3
per cent were made there 1
They transferred their skill
and resources to the West.
Their C-T-C Cord today Is
regarded as one of the three or
- four really fine tires in America.
Nine western scutes give it a
remarkable sale. Farther East
Its good name is rapidly
spreading.
We shall be glad to give you
expert information about your
tires, and if you need them
put on C-T-C either bal
loons, semi -balloons, heavy
duty cords or oversize cords 1

Wear Necklace
Down the Back
V
IP you draw a V from shoulder
line to waistline, and then scoop
out the material Inside the V you
uncover quite an expanse of back.
If this bothers you at all, follow the
plan of Cannel layers and wear one
of the new back necklace of dia
monds and pearls just like the
pendant effects that were once worn
down the front. It breaks u the
deud "white of the shoulders and
offers some explanation for the cut
of the f rock. I tea I ly , it's a very
smart thing to do these days.
