ed this yeur. Two cars of certified
seed potatoes have been shipped

both these crops.

Commerce will hold its regular
weekly luncheon Tuesday noon at
l'erry, the occasion being the of
ficial inspect Ion by the. public of
the Grande Hondo Lumber com
pany 'n new sawmill, which will In
formally opened on that day,
A force of men under Superin
tendent W. W. Gray has been
busy I he past 1 h days Installing
the new resuw and with this lust
piece of machinery in, t he me
chanical installation is complete.
Already sawing Timber.
The mill, however, has been
sawing timber with u day and a
night shift, since April 1st.
The management, Klmer and
Marl Ktoddard, announce that the
inspection hours will be from
12:30 to 7; p. m., during which
time they will be pleased to wel
come ull to see the new plant in
operation. While the new mill Is
only a single band, with the addi
tion of the re saw, by operating
two shifts, the daily capacity will
be 13II.0UU feet which is greater
than the double band mill pro
duction which burned ' last Sep
tember which only run one shift.
