cert on Friday evening. May 1, at

past week to develop the marble
deposits above Alder Slope former
ly known as the Oregon Mhu k Mar
ble Co. holdings. Articles of Incor
poration have been filed by the
lllack Marble - Lime company,
which has already started work. A
small force of men will operate
the plant and it is the Intention to
burn about carloads this season.
