Regardless of the outcome of this
week's games, an' Oregon school,
either Oregon Agricultural college
or 1'niver.slty or Oregon will repre
sent the northern section of the
Pacific coast haskeitl;i conference
when tho northern winner plays the

tour-game series for the champion
ship of the Pacific coast confer
ence. The series will he played
up north (his year and will be
hM by two out of three games.
The, ;Aggies closed their tri
umphant season Friday with a, 34-10-30
victory over Oregon ut L'u
gene. To tie the Aggies. Oregon
must win its remaining three con
ference games, all of which win
he on the road. Washington elim
inated itself Saturday hy losing to
Idaho at Moscow. 27 to 32.
Aggies Hold Ad'vnntflgr?
The advantage is all with the.
Aggies. It will be quite a feat
should Oregon be able to win its
three road games, as the Webfoot
ers, because of their fnst style, of
play, have proved In their games
so far that they are unable to with
stand a hard schedule. The Aggies
on the' other hand have been
playing percentage basketball all
season and because that does not
require great endurance, they have
been abe to play games on suc
cessive nights and make a good
showing. Another disadvantage for
the Wehfooters Is that their play-
trs arc extremely youthful.
Oregon opens Its road schedule
tonight against Whitman college at
Wallu Walla. Tomorrow night it
faces Wanhlngton Slate at Pull
man, then Idaho at Moscow Thurs
day night and wind up (he sched
ule with the Washington game at
Seattle Saturday night.
Washington plays Montana to
night, but that game does not
count in the ooafit conference
standings. Washington State and
Idaho play at Moscow Saturday
night and at Pullman Monday
night.
