in tho cost of men's clothing and fur
nishings by reducing the cost of pro
duction Is thu announced purpose of
ait orgunized effort which has been
started by the National Association
of Kctull Clothiers. This is planned
to be accomplished by the formation
of a clothing Industry commission con
slating of u representative from each
of the allied industries in thu cloth
ing trade.
The lowering process In cost Is ex
pected to be dona without cutting Into
legitimate profits, according to Sol
Schloss of IndlanupoliH, thu new pres
dent of thu association.
"We are going to begin ut the foun
tain head, that K tho original cost,
and everyone in the clothing business
Is going to bo given an opportunity
to aid in tho movement,' ho said.
