5000 persons, the largest crowd that
ever saw a ball game in Pendleton,
Walla IWnlla won from the Bucka
roos here Sunday afternoon dy a
score of 6 to 5, and by the victory
took the pennant of the Blue Moun
tain league. The game was a post
season contest to break the tie be
tween the two teams.
Neither team scored until the
fourth, when the visitors got one
and Pendleton two. In the sixth
each team added two more. Walla
Walla came back in the eighth- for
two more, leaving the score ied.
Walla Wulla drew blood again in
the ninth with one more marker.
The ltuckaroos in their play, with
the bases full, were retired when
Baker flew out.
