A number of swimming and life
laving awards have been posted in
tho Y. M. C. A. that aie given to
V members who pass the required
tests. Certificates aud awards are
on display for beginners, swimmers,
leaders, life Bayers, swimming teach
ers, and swimming and lite saving
Instructors. The beginners must be
.ible to swim 50 yards and the other
awards are graded up to the final
award for swimming and life saving
instructors, ' where the swimmer
must be abltv to swim any stroke,
demonstrating lite saving, etc. These
tests may be taken at any lime un
der supervision of A. E. Pryke.
