of sweet peas. The handle of each
basket was tied with bow of the
different pastel shades. Larger bas
kets of lo.-es Were placed about the;
room.
The arrangement of the guests at
the tallies was a very unique one. At
the door each lady was given a card
tied with a ribbon corresponding to
a colored bow on a basket.
A: 1:30 a delicious luncheon was
siived. following is the menu. Fruit
cocktail, veal bird, creamed new po
tatoes, pickled pineapple, olives, park
ker house rolls, salad and brick ice
cicam and cookies.

who are at the present time touring
Belgium. In speuking of their visit
in Brussels they said: " we visited
the beautiful gardens here. 'All the
wonderful bronze figures, etc., Were
taken by the Germans and used for
shells, likely to shoot the Belgians.
They didn't destroy the buildings
much, as they cxpocted'to own them
at some time.'' The doctor and his
wife' expect to return to the United
