Anions the many cxcclk'iit things La Grande has is a
jodtfe of the Dramatic Order of Knights of Khorassan,
which is related to and is a part of the famous old Knights
(of J'lvlhias order. v .
That order has been holding a special session in La
Grande and among the noted visitors attending was (Jus
Weese, imperial l'rinec of the D. (). K. K. lor the United
States, Canada anil Hawaiian Islands.
After witnessing the work of the local drill team and
inspecting the entire ). 0. Jv. K. organization here he
(stated without reservation that it is the very hest he has
jhvii; that the members are alive to the importance of the
order they represent, and that La Grande takes the' top
most rank in all the lodges of that order throughout his
domain.
The Imperial Prince is not a man who is given to
spontaneous praise. A member or lodge must win the
spill's if they are to be worn, belief the kind 'words littered
hive true and unmistakable meaning.
La Grande has always been proud of her Knights of
I'ythias lodge and its I). O. K. K. attachment. If is more
so now that all know just how fine an organization we have
here as compared with other cities.
