FILM TRIAL SCENE
IN WESTERN COURT
A murder trial actually filmed in
a courtroom is ne of the interesting
f( atmes of "Tlie Beautiful Gambler,"
which comes to the Arcade Theatre on
Thursda-y only.
For the locution, the courtroom of
Superior Judge Frank W. Willis, of
Los Angeles, was loaned to Universal
each night fur two weeks, and the
trial was conducted with much real
ism. Grace Darmon, beautiful blonde
star of many successful photoplays,
interprets the leading feminine tole.
A two reel comedy featuring
Brownie, the wonder dog, will also
be shown.
