Muster Mike Gilhooley, champion stowaway of the Atlantic, has at last
icuined admittance into the United States and is today the guest of Mrs.
Marian Gilhoolcy Curry at the Hotel Vanderbilt, New York. Mike gained
much prominence during the past year by arrivin gin New York five
times as a stowaway on transports bringing soldiers home from France
Four times the emigration authorities sent him back, but his last attempt

Brief talks were made by those pres
ent including L. Thomas, a well known
colored woiker of Seattle.
The organiztttion was made by Miss
Lucre tin Harris Gray, of Spokane,
who is organizer for colored people
along with her work as missionary for
four states in the West. She is also
here representing the Colored Folks'
Home, which is a place for old colored
Popple who have passed the age of be
