Plans to transfer millions of dollars in
California brewing interests to the
'orient, Mexico and South America have
been held up pending the outcome of
the New York suit to establish the
Matus of a beer with a 2 3-4 per cont
alcoholic content under the forth com
ing prohibition measures, R. Samot,
president of the California Brewing
associations, has announced.
"If the test case decides that a 2 3-4
per cent beer is non-intoxiennt, the
California breweries will open fult
blast," Samet said.
