morning by Mrs..J. Gulling from her
daughter, .Ethel Gulling, who left
lust May for France, stating that'
she was in the United States, having
landed In Boston. She will leave Im
mediately for Now t'ork and from
there will very likely come home,
.although her plans are not known.
Miss Gulling was th-i first La Grande
girl to volunteer for overseas service
and Is the first to come home.
