Jimmy Donnegan, one of the leading
men of Harney county, passed through
La Grande yesterday on his way home
from the metropolis. He was strong
in his hopes for the future of the
Warm Springs irrigation project whicTi
is coming along in fine shape now.
One of the distressing things op
ened up by Jimmie was the fact that
the hay crop in Harney county is in
bad shape. The Belle A ranch, be
longing to Bill Hanley, which always
produces heavily in hay, is almost a
total failure and the stock raisers of
Harney are shipping out their stock
now because of the short crop of hay.
