Following the display of the Aurora
liorealis or the night before a good
drenching ruin lasting all day
Tuesday, arrived to wet down our
high hopes or fine weather.
On Friday, April 5, the Joseph
high r.chnol operetta. "The Nautical
Knot" will be put on in Roup's hull
under Ihe direction of Mrs. A. K.
Parker and Miss Helen Waslell. 'In
tensive practices are being held
dally, assuring (lie success of pro
duction. Special scenery, pretty
costumes and fancy dances will lo
featured.
The Joseph Concert band, con
sisting of twenty pieces, will appear
in a concert in .Roup's hall on Kri
iday night, the 2!!tli. Besides the
band piogram of twelve numbers
! there will be a duct by Miss (iludys
ll.ane and Mr. Otiy Morelock, a
number by the ladles' nuartet and
a snxaphone solo by Hand Leader
Simpson. A good crowd Is ex

lowed by a dance.
