. Most o ftlii! situations and the hum
or o fthe five-part triunglo comedy,
"Up or Down,' are amusing, but the
author, Linn F. Reynolds ,niust have
been in a very whimsical mood when
he wroto it. It frequently becomes a

cided uqolities of entertainment.
George Hernnndcz Ha the reformed

way you want to look at him, and1
makes Dallas Alike as likeable an old
jail-bird as ever spent all llis vaca

one serious failing Is his tender heart.
It is always geting getting him into

Ann Pennington, the dancer of 'Kol

even for football, and in her newest
Paramount picture, "The Antics of
Ann," she realizes an ambition of
hundreds of girls who have wished
in their hearts to take part in the
sport. In full football regalia, she
dashes madly towards the goal and
narrowly misses making a historic
touchdown. This is only one of the
many amusing Incidents abounding
In "The Antics of Ann," which will
furnish entertainment at the Arcade
theatre on Monday and Tuesday.
