The reason why "The Ten of Dia
monds," from u story by Albert Cowr
ies, proves intensely entertaining, is
principally because its presentation is
psychologically correct. The chief
feminine character in the story is not
of the type that we might wi.di our
daughters or sisters to emulate, yet
as A stray bit of human driftwood we

dancer of the rougher type takes the
