EUGENE, Ore.,- Nov. 13. Fifty
men who completed the ordnance
course of the school of commerce of
the University of Oregon are on their
way to the Government arsenal at
San Antonio, Texas.
The men received special instruc
tion in work outlined by the war de
partment. A new class is being or
ganized now and will open a week
from today. One hundred and fifty
applications for admission wero re
ceived, but, under war department
restrictions, only 60 will be admitted.
