IN BELGIUM.

PORTLAND, Or., Oct. 25. Pert
land's campaign for the Liberty Bonds
was fanned t fever heat Tuesday.
The wonderful feature about it is that
a motion picture accomplished it. Re
markable as was the speech of Cyrus

more striking was the official French
picture "In tha Wake of the Huns,"
which absolutely gripped and enthrall
ed a vast audience. "In the Wake of
the Huns" portrayed grippingly just
what the Germans have done to Nor

magnificent climax with the victorious
French troops advancing finally en
thusing completely the audience with

The Peirce meeting is expected to
