NOTICE TO MOTOR VEHICLE
OWNERS
Please look your Motor Vehicle
over and seo if the same will meet
with the approval of the now law
which went into effect on August,
first, 1917. Each Motor Vehicle must
display two license plates, one on the
front, one on the rear of said vehicle.
Each motor car must display two
white lamps on the front and one red
lamp on the rear, said rear lamp must
show a white light across the rear
license plate. Each motorcycle must
display one white lamp in front, one
red lamp on the rear. The rear lamp
must show a white light across the
rear license plate. When the safety
of the use of any Public highway de
mands, the front lights of every
motor vehicle shall be dimmed so as
to prevent any glare therefrom. All
motor vehicle dealers must display a
dealer's license upon each motor ve
hicle when using the same upon the
public highway within Union County,
Oregon. The above will be strictly
enforced from this date.
