In the Mitchell Motor we think fcns been
attained the' huppy combination of simplic
ity and efficiency. TIiIb motor is not a new
typo with the Mitchell. It has beon perfected
through use In several Mitchell models. It
is L desln, n typo found in some of the
most expensive motor cars manufac
tured. In this Mitchell motor all valve
mechanism is enclosed and operates in
a vapor of oil. Not a moving part is ex
posed excepting the fan shaft and fly wheel.
This construction eliminates the possibility
of noise ani reduces wear to a minimum.
The carburetor is extremely high. The In
take manifold Is cast inside the cylinder
block and the air for the carburetor is taken
off the exhaust pipe, which Insures thor
oughly vaporised gas and high mileage.
Note the combination of water pump and
fan, both belt driven. This is a Mitchell
feature which Is being paid the compliment
of imitation. Also note the Vacuum Feed
is mounted on the engine block, no twisting
of connections as when mounted on the
body. The Mitchell cylinder head is quickly
detachable and exposes the valves and
pistons for attention. The electrical equip
ment Is the double unit type, generator for
generating and a starter tar mtartina n
gear driven.
