The Prescription
and the Patient
S
When your physician writes a proscrip
tion for you or some member of your
family, lie has his patient's welfare in
mind. The value of the medicine which
is to he given docs not depend upon the
price, but upon the good which it will
accomplish.
Your physician's wishes aiid the pati
ent's welfare will both be conserved if
we do the compounding. Pure ingred
ients and scientific methods insure right
results.

"Hip" Vaudeville Day
At Arcade Theatre
Tomorrow will (be Hippodrome
vaudeville day for La Grande. If the
first week's attendance can be taken
for any indication as to how the peo
ple take to this class of vaudeville the
shows to come will have no kick as to
the crowds they have to play to.
This week's bill includes the fam
ous Uooper-Kigdon dancers, "The
'Pance of the Snow" is the very per
sonification of light airness and dainty
coloring. Not a sound do the fairy
dancers make. The Japanese court
dance by Joan Hardcastle is unusual J
in the slow grace, the winding name
like motions. The boudoir dance by
Grace Fenimore is a dainty bit of
light flitting, as is also the first num
ber with the symbolic costuming. A
I Persian and a Japanese emotional
'dance is also included in this number,
j Another popular number will be Ed- 1
wards and McKenna. This couple are
but irecent arrivals in this country, '
