SHERRY'S
Western Life in Him.
All the glamour of life in the West
is portrayed in the bar-room and
dance-hall scenes in William Fox' new
photodrama, "The Beast," at Sherry s
today and tomorrow. It is especially
in the scene where tho little Eastern
trirl (Anna L,mner is ciiimppi-y .
the back room of tho dance-hall that
the spirit of the West is most evident.
Mildred, the character that Miss
Luther plays, desires to see something
of life in the town she is visitiiitr, and
she hires a Mexican (juide to take her
into a rear room of a place from which
she hears music. The guide sees a
chance to get some money, and takes
her there. Then, when he has her
safely inside, he snatches her purse,
runs out, locks the door behind him.
From hero on the story becomes very
interesting.
