THE NEW FREIGHT RATES.

terior country rates that will be per

pany of Brooklyn, which is working
on large shell orders, and the Poole
Engineering & Machine company, of
Baltimore, also engaged m making

the concerns around which the consoli
dation would be built. Persons in
terested in the matter said there would
be seven concerns merged, selected
from a dozen or more which have
been considered.
