It all happened in "The Eternal
Grind," Mary Pickford's latest big
feature in which she is being starred
by the Famous Players Film company
on the Paramount program It is the
stellar attraction at the Arcade thea
tre for Friday and Saturday. In this
powerful story, Mary Pickford plays
the Tole of a factory girl who battles
against frightful odds in her struggle
to preserve intact the little home of
which the death of her parents has
made her the head.
Director John O'Brien supervised
the production of tho film in which
Miss Pickford is supported by Ijoretta
Blake, Dorothy West, John Bowers,
Robert Cain, J. Albert Hall and others
of equal prominence in the film and
stage world.

Frank Ebell of Baker purchased an
excellent three year old Percheron
stallion, "Princeton 10f:!87," from the
eastern uregon experiment sunum.
"Prince," as ho is known by his
attendant, was born and raised at the
State Farm. lie is a colt possessing
olentv of style and action, a rugged
constitution, and gives every indica
tion of developing into an excellent
