Story of Great Drama of Interna
tional Intrigue.
"Diplomacy," in which. Maria Doro
repeats upon the screen the triumph
which she scored upon the stage in the
role of Dora, is the next Famous
Pluyers-Churles Frohman feature in
which this delightful star appears. It
is the Paramount picture at the Ar
cade Friday and Saturday.
The story of "Diplomacy" is a tale
of into, national intrigue involving the
theft of the plans of Gibraltar by a
foreign spy. Julian Beauclerc has
just been appointed to a position in
the British diplomatic service. His
first commission is to take the Gibral
tar plans to the Spanish legation.
Julian has just been married to
Dora, after a romantic courtship
which began at Monte Carlo, and his
family knows nothing of the girl
whatever. Thera is a Comptesse
Zickn, a Russian in the employ of se
cret foreign agents, who has been
desperately in love with Julian and U
determined to combine the carrying
out of the stealing 'of the plans with
the wrouking of .revenge upon Dora
