came," Joy prevails in many house
holds where - the commissary .chiefs
wouldn t contribute 15 cents for a box
of good strawberries. THe quality is,
if anything, better than last week's
offers at 20 cents per box.
At the same time that strawberries
were coming, down fresh tomatoes
dropped Ave cents a pound and new
cabbage assumed a higher level.
On the whole the market opened
firm and steady this morning with
