AT ARCADE.
"The Trail of the Lonesome Pine,'
in which Charlotte Walker is to ap
pear in her famous role of "June" at
the Arcade on Friday and Saturday,
is one of the most recent and best
Ijasky productions and is staged un
der the personal direction of Cecil B.
De Mille, director general, who has
maintained throughout the picture the
wonderful atmosphere of the Cumber
land mountains and the peculiar char
acteristics of the mountaineers of that
remote region. " '
The story has to do with the love
between the beautiful daughter of the
leader of the illegal whiskey makers
and a young Revenue Officer who has
been sent to the mountains to secure
the arrest of the father.
In the cast supporting Miss Walker
are Theodore Roberts, Thomas Meig
