Members of the Eagles' lodge
have been advised that G. D. . Sim
mons, for many years a conductor out
of here, and later a cigar salesman,
died last week in St. Paul, and was
buried last Friday. He was in . La
Grande a few weeks ago en route ea3t
and was then suffering with heart
trouble, and that disease caused his
death.
