ed painful if not serious injuries -when
.the automobile . turned turtle and
threw him out upon the pavement. He
was rushed to the Jiospital nearby
and it was announced that his in

veal otherwise. Little is known of
the cause of the accident as he had
only partially recovered consciousness
and was not able to make an oxplana

was the driver of the car and it is
said he was speeding up Court street
at a reckless rate and in a .zigzag
course. The tracks show that the cat
was taking most of the street. Ver
non escaped with a few bruises and
left the city toward the reservation
while Dr. Barbour was being taken
to the hospital.

Fishor of this city died at the home of
hiB son Guy at Ontario, Saturday
night. His death was due to a stroke of
paralysis. Mr. Fisher was a pioneer
of Cove, and leaves a wife n& several
childen, besides relatives nd a host
of friends to mourn their loss. The
remains were brought to Union for
tbo funeral and for burial. - ,
