Accident Proves Exciting. ".
Almost, but not quite, Senator Kid
dle was sent to the hospital last night
in which even he would have been
unable to advise the governor in the
senatorial appointments today- with
such wisdom. Senator Kiddle . was
coming from his Island City home to
attend the Masonic lodge, : and his
lights having given out, he attempted
to find his way to town wihout them.
Near the oil tanks, the machine skid
ded into the ditch, completely wreck
ing a new top. Mr. Kiddle, who was
the only occupant of the par, escaped
with only minor bruises and was able
to proceed to the city on foot, After
lodge some friends took him home in
their car. The damage to the ma
chine was considerable.
