senger train No. 8 -was wrecked this
morning near Kpofford illation, a few
miles this side of Walln Walla when
the engine and four cars left the track
as n result of a broken rail. But lit
tle damage was cauned and no one
was injured. Tho track where the
accident occurred was on level
ground and consequently the cars did
not overturn, Evidently sonic trouble
was had in gelling Iho cars back up
on tho track as a wrecking train was
made up nor this aftermm and left
for Ihe snonc several hours after the
