by becoming the bride of Reginald
Ileryford, the ceremony being per
formed in La Grande by Justice of
the Peace, Arthur Williams. Mrs.
Ileryford is the third daughter of Mr.
, and Mrs. Dick Peebler and has
crown to womanhood in this ru-ic-h-
borhood, having been born here. Her
husband is a young man of this val
ley but his parents are now residing
at North Powder. Here's wishing
that their joys may be as deen as
the ocean and their sorrows as light
an the foam.
The weather still continues to be
fine, enabling the farmers to accomp
lish much.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward McMasters
and son drove down from their
ranch at High Valley Sunday and
spent the day with Mr. and Mrs.
Tom Bates, returning that evening.
After standing idle for some time

again yesterday: The ties have been
