According ' to his own statements
then,- the history of this interesting
and successful business, man is about
as follows: v
Dave Fitzgerald (everybody uses
the familiar term),, was born in Mich
igan and came west in the year 1892,
settling first in the city of Dayton.

machinery and tools to La Grande
and put up his modest plant on the
