Arthur Van Fleet is in I Grande
from Santa Barbara, where he has
been located with Uncle Sam's post
office department for the past year
and a half. He will take his mother
and sister to California to spend the
winter there when he returns, whicn
will be in a few days. He is much
surprised at the growth of La Grande
fcince his" departure and still holds a
warm spot in his heart for the city,
though he is very fond of the climate
and conditions in California.
