be repaired. This breakdown occurred not unexpected
at a very inopportune time, as the
company is loaded up with rush ord

behind considerably in their shin-

A number of the people of. Perry
attended the funeral of Mr. Bean
which was held in La Grande Wednes
day. It appears that the best part of the
swimming season is over here, as the
nights are very chilly and the water
is getting cold. For the past two or
three weeks the water has been ideal
ming immensely. .

Good Peaches Scarce.
i
While there have been plenty . Mil-j
ton clingstone peaches, the top variety j
of peaches have been scarce and there
will probably be no material relief un
til the freestones come either from
Milton or other noted peach districts.
Local dealers are unable to procure
a peach that is as juicy, large and
luscious as peaches should be at this
time of the year.

Ana it is here that S. S. S., the famous
blood purifier is most activo in Us
Influence.
There is one Ingredient in S. S. S., the
purpose of which it is to stimulate the
cells in the tissues that they select
from the blood the nutriment that
makes new skin and thus eliminates
all irritants, acids and parasites that
inflame the glands. There is a natural
tendency of the fine network of blood
vessels in the skin to throw off impuri
ties, but where a persistent Inflamma
tion process has invaded the skin, the
natural repair work of the blood is ln-tc-'---"
- , requires the stlnv
lutiug activity of S. S. S. to overccma
such morbid conditions. If you havo
been troubled with acne, do not despair
of a cure. ,
You can gret S. S. S. In any drug1
