Boy Hurt With Fork.
' Quite a painful accident happened
last Monday at the ranch of John
Fisher on Smiths mountain, to Stan
ley' Fisher, his little 11 year old Bon,
who was out where the hired man was
loading hay in the field, and in failing
to be able to climb on the load of hay
he caught with, both hands on the
Pjick part of the hay rack' and called
to the hired man to stick the fork in
the hay to assist him, which he did
and not thinking of the child's hands
was careless where he placed the if oik
in the hay, and the fork ' tines ' ran
through the' plam of one hand and
came out on the back of the hand, in-

Southbourne, today received fr'om the
probate court papers announcing him
sole heir to 10,000 pounds and the
one paper left by his father who had
committed ' suicide after killing his
wife. The testator had burned all of
his effects in the nature of papers ex
cept the' will, to which was' attached
the following explanation of his deed:
"This sad affair is due the the con
tinuous nagging of my wife. Nobody
knowr what I have gone through in
the last nine years. May God have
mercy on our souls." ' .
