recently returned from several cities
where he has spent the past week ar
ranging for the fall race meeting to
be held during- the county fairs, Boise,
Caldwell and La Grande have signified
their intention of entering the circuit,
and excellent purses will be hung up

vail generally as to the council's ac-

Fourth and Pennsylvania. The Mc-
